Customer Service, Is Bigger Always Better?

I know this may sound weird, but when it comes to customer service, I do not think that the large buisinesses serve their customers best. Granted there are many companies, large and small, that have great customer service and vice versa. Generally speaking, in my own opinion, a small to middle size company will serve their customers better than a large company can (or at least they should). In many cases, when the consumer has a question or a problem with their product, then they will be waiting on hold for it seems like an eternity. The smaller companies have the luxury of actually answering the phones and talking to the person instead of having an automated system to handle the consumer’s problems. Though the larger companies may not be able to compete with the customer service of the smaller companies, it is the larger companies who usually have the cheaper prices. In some ways, you are paying extra for the better quality customer service the smaller company may be able to provide you as opposed to a larger company. It just depends what you are willing to spend your money on, customer service or strictly the product. Sometimes the smaller companies’ better customer service may make all the difference in the world with how happy you are in the product.

Iraqi's Using Iranian weapons

In Baghdad, Iraq, U.S. officials said that there is a "growing body" of evidence that Iranian weapons are being used to kill U.S. soldiers. An estimated 170 coalition forces have been killed by Iranian weapons already. This information was given from a senior defense official from the U.S.-led Multinational Force in Baghdad. Most of these weapons include roadside bombs known as explosively formed penetrators (EFP's) and they are suspected to have been smuggled into Iraq. Fragments of what is said to be Iranian-manufatured weapons including oe part of an EFP was shown to journalists by officials. These EFP's are strong enough to penetrate the armor of an Abrams tank. "The weapons had characteristics unique to being manufactured in
Iran' name ... Iran is the only country in the region that produces these weapons," the senior defense official said in Baghdad. U.S. officials are concerned about the "vast increase" of sophistication of the weapons used by Iraqi militants against U.S. forces in 2006 and 2007.
