Hussein is Officially Insane...But so is the Rest of His Defense Team

Things escalated very quickly in the court room sunday afternoon during Saddam Hussein's ongoing trial in Baghdad. One member from the defense had to be drug out of the court room with many of the others from the defense team leaving in protest, and then the Iraqi leader needing to be escorted from the room shouting, "Down with the Americans" and "Down with the traitors". The first man who was thrown out of the court room was Saddam's half brother, Barzin Ibrahim, who called the court a “the daughter of a whore.” While the defense was leaving, Abdel-Rahman, the new Kurdish judge, said, “Any lawyer who walks out will not be allowed back into this courtroom.” Abdel-Rahman was replaced two other judges because of complaints that they were not doing enough to rein in Saddam's frequent outbursts. Rahman replaced the lawyers who had walked out with 4 new ones, but Saddam refused for these lawyers to become his and that's part of the reason he yelled at these profound statements. Saddam and his defense team are so furious on how the trial has been going on claiming it to be "unfair" and "lawless".
